PPS Management Team
Karen A. Sutberry
Karen Sutberry is President of PPS Orthotic and Prosthetic Services and
Chief Operating Officer of Custom Healthcare Services, LLC, providing
management and coordinative leadership across all Custom Healthcare
Services entities. Karen brings 27 years of experience from Michigan State
University's College of Human Medicine; including Executive Assistant to
the Dean of the medical school.
Karen leads all efforts regarding organizational development, execution of
and documentation of all action plans and all formal written communication
within the organization. She also leads our process improvement efforts for all non-clinical areas
within the corporation and contracted agencies. Karen backs up the CEO on an as needed basis.
She coordinates all critical management, executive and developmental meetings. She is also a key
problem solver, utilizing her interpersonal skills to represent effectively the Corporation to employees
and others outside the organization.
Catherine Henderson
Cathy Henderson is Chief Operating Officer, managing the day to day
operations of PPS Orthotic and Prosthetic Services and coordinates the
Amputee Advocate Program. She has been with PPS O&P for over twelve
years and also serves as a senior marketing representative for Custom
Healthcare Services, LLC. Cathy markets to physicians, hospitals and other
healthcare providers in the Chattanooga, Dalton and North Georgia areas
for the past 12 years. Cathy's emphasis is on primary care physicians and
always represents the organization as a caring and friendly professional.
She was also owner and manager of Agape Personal Care Service in Nashville, Tennessee.
Karstan Merrell, CO
Karstan Merrell, Vice President of Marketing for PPS Orthotic and Prosthetic Services and Custom Healthcare Services, LLC, provides marketing across all organizations falling under Custom Healthcare Services. He is well known in the community for his service as a Certified Orthotist, certified by
the American Board for Certification and licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia.
Karstan has an extensive background both in the medical and business
field. He attended the University of Texas San Antonio before completing
his clinical residency in orthotics in Salt Lake City, Utah. His business
background was gained through training with his father, Randy Merrell,
founder of the Merrell Boot Company, now a billion dollar retailer. Karstan serves on
the Merrell Board of Directors for R.I., Merrell and Sons and is a clinical consultant
for Merrell Foot Lab. He also has served as an instructor at The Merrell Institute,
located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Judith Rogers
Judy Rogers is the Chief Financial Officer, Controller and a Board
Member for Custom Healthcare Services, LLC, including PPS Orthotic and Prosthetic Services. Judy has over 20 years experience in supporting various businesses with a primary focus on home care organizations.
She is responsible for all accounting functions for multiple companies. She has served as Controller for a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency, Home Infusion Therapy Pharmacy, Home Medical Equipment Provider, Real
Estate Company and a Large Wholesale/Distribution Company, providing
accounting support, expense control and report preparation. She received her Bachelors degree in 1986 in Operations Management, with a minor in Computer Information Systems, from Georgia State University.
